Welcome to my hobbyblog!

I love to scrapbook and cardmaking! I may not be very good just yet, but hopefully one day... ;)

It's not easy to always come up with new idea yourself, and therefore I "steal" other peoples layouts and ideas! But I always put my own touch to them!

I hope you like what you see, and maybe I can inspire you!

A bit about me...

I am a mostly happy girl that was born in Surnadal in Møre-and-Romsdal (Norway) the 26th of December 1977.

I grew up in Porsgrunn, in this house:

I have lived a bit here and there, among other places I lived in Marietta, Ohio in USA for two years in my teens and I went to college in Halden, Østfold (Norway). Now I live in this house in Andebu, Vestfold (Norway):

(But it's not our van in front of the house!!!)

I work in a home for deaf men with autism - and I absolutely love my job!

I am happily married to the most wonderful man in the world, Karl that is from London, England - that's how I ended up with my sirname. He is a fantastic husband and I feel very lucky and blessed to have him by my side. He's quite the looker as well! ;)

I have many hobbies and interests, but I have been mostly into scrapbooking and cardmaking for a while now.

I have a little girl growing in my tummy at the moment... The duedate is the 1st of September 2009, and we are really looking forward to meeting our little girl.

Here is my growing tummy...

We have four cats... Yup, 4!!! I love them each to bits!!!

Other than this it's not really much more to tell I think... =)

I hope you like my blog and that you might be insoired by something in here. I love getting comments to the stuff I have put on here, but remember to sign your name to your comment. ;)

My parents!

The house I grew up in! Mum and dad have restored the house to it's former glory themnselves, and I am very proud of what thay have done! The house was built in 1905, and they have done such a great job with it!

My wonderful and kind daddy!

My fantastic mum!

This pic shows my dad, mum, myself, my husband, my father-in-law and his girlfriend Lorraine outside the courthouse in Sandefjord. The day I became Mrs. Wild...

Four of the most important men in my life: dad, Ailo (my nephew), Tom (my brother-in-law) and my handsome husband Karl.

The 9th of February 2007 I became an anutie to the most adorable boy ever! I am so proud of him!!! Ailo is such a sweet and lovable boy!

Ailo turning 2 years old! We were invited to the big party, but I had to work. So we celebrated it on the actual day instead!

We celebrated Christmas Eve a few days before Christmas 2008 so that we could all meet up and celebrate together. Ailo dressed up as Santa...

Christmasgifts are exiting!!!

Even though it was mummy and daddy that got married the 2nd of August 2007, Ailo was the center of attention a lot of the time! Here he have changed out of the suit!

Together with dad and mum outside the church.

A beautiful family!

Visiting grandma and grandpa in Porsgrunn...

Grandpa has a very cool car!!! Ailo just HAD to try it out!

It's not too bad to visit auntie and uncle in Andebu! Loads of attention and cuddles are always good!

It's nice being on grandpa's lap! Grandpa is without a doubt the big favorite!!!

My sister and brother-in-law!

I am lucky enough to be the big sister to this wonderful girl! She is a truely great person with a very big heart!

And this is the man in her life! Tom is a very nice guy and I am very happy that they found each other! I don't think she could have found a better husband - and that says a lot considering that I am a very overprotective big sister!

Here they are on their weddingday the 2nd of August 2007.

Our cats

I love all animals, but cats are my favorites!
My husband has always been more of a dogperson, but after he moved to Norway he has become a bit more fond of cats.

Before Karl moved to Norway I had two cats, a Birman named Cerrano and a MaineCoon/Norwegain Forestcat mix named Trouble. I thought that was plenty with the two of them, but then we were asked to take care to two youngsters untill they were permenantly re-homed. We agreed, and Ceefer and Rascal moved in. We descided to to keep Ceefer, but found Rascal a new home. However, there were a few problems with his new home so he moved back here again. We didn't have the heart to re-home him again, so now we have FOUR (!!!) cats. That was NOT the plan, but I wouldn't be without any of them!

Ceefer and Rascal are Cornish Rex's, and are two wonderful boys!

Rascal (the red one) and Ceefer (the white and red one) getting ready for a night out... (Or are they just drinking water from the sink I wonder?)
